Fridays with Freddie: Whoops, It's 2017!
Wow, so that was some fail on my part. I end 2016 with my on-sale post and then disappear for almost two months? Brilliant.
I haven't been doing nothing, of course. I've been finding a balance between staying politically informed and trying not to be overwhelmed. I've been writing (not as much as I'd like), and I've been poking around my website, playing with some redesign ideas. I haven't figured out exactly how I want the new site to look but I'm close.
Something else I've been doing: being much more active on Instagram! Do you follow me there? Please do so you don't miss out. Right now I'm doing an #authorlifemonth challenge for the month of February. I still have yet to post today's but here's a quick look at what's gone up so far:
The challenge itself.
Commissioned art.
Cover inspiration.
Head over to Instagram for an explanation of these images.
In other news, I'm working on the follow-up to A Honeyed Light, which some of you will be happy to know. I've been getting great reviews for the first book, and I'm itching to write this one, which is from Olli's POV. It gets deeper into the paranormal happening around Harmony, and expands the town quite a bit. Stay tuned for more on that.
That's all for now. What are you up to? What new projects are you looking forward to for 2017?
