I haven't actively been doing too much for Preptober, but that's because I lucked out in that most of the prep work has already been done. I did however take some time to create an awesome tracker in my writing bullet journal, and am putting myself out there that yes, I am doing this. Hold me accountable!

You know I keep promising to stop disappearing like this, but if there's one thing I know about myself it's that I get distracted super easily. Which is why I'm getting started on something a month early to hold myself accountable. Yeah that's right. We're talking NaNoWriMo time!

Well time just keeps on slipping away, doesn't it? At least I haven't been idle. Here comes this [long overdue] Friday with Freddie!

Wow, so that was some fail on my part. I end 2016 with my on-sale post and then disappear for almost two months? Brilliant. I haven't been doing nothing , of course. I've been finding a balance between staying politically informed and trying not to be overwhelmed. I've been writing (not as much as I'd like), and I've been poking around my website, playing with some redesign ideas. I haven't figured out exactly how I want the new site to look but I'm close. Something else I've been doing: being much more active on Instagram ! Do you follow me there? Please do so you don't miss out. It's finally here! Release day for A HONEYED LIGHT! Y'all, I can't even contain my excitement; my stomach is roiling . I'm just so very happy to share this labor of love with you.
